Selfies

March 10, 2015

The title says it all!

First we have Sanbec, with his solution to the human male face problem.

Yes, that is Mother Sharazz in the background.

And Kirgra, looking … happy? Death Knights are not supposed to be happy!

Juna, put down that camera, we’re about to pull Kargath! Peaches wants her noms!

Another of Juna, hanging out in Averry’s garrison before an invasion. Apparently she thinks invasion = beach party.

Interestingly enough, Van is my ‘main’ and he STILL hasn’t taken a selfie! He’s had plenty of playtime he just … I don’t know. I think he doesn’t really like his new face that much yet. I might have to make some adjustments to it again.

Welcome, Blizzard Watch

February 4, 2015

Most of you who care already know, but the folks who formerly worked at WoW Insider have launched a replacement site at Blizzard Watch. They will be funded by contributions from their readers/supporters through Patreon. Enough people have contributed already for them to definitely be able to get the site underway with everything that they want it to have, including columns that we all loved that were cut last year when they were forced to downsize. How’s that for community?

On to my in-game activites. Juna upgraded her barn to level 3 a couple of weeks ago. Now, trapping wolves for fur was only a secondary reason for her to have a barn. The number one reason is this Glass of Warm Milk that can spawn inside of it. It took a couple of weeks for it to spawn, and then some practice with Aviana’s Feather to manage landing inside the second floor, but she did it.

Looting that gives you the cutest pet ever, the Pygmy Cow.

She really needs to have a talk with her minions about burning candles inside the barn though. Hay + fire = very bad things.

In other news, Oslee finally made his way to Draenor, and since Sanbec is arms, Oslee changed his spec to fury so he wouldn’t feel the same. I used to not like fury, but, you know, that was Wrath and a lot has changed since then. I mean, I can be fury and still charge and bladestorm now, so it’s all good. And he does look badass with two big weapons.

Three Menageries

January 7, 2015

Because after all, that’s the whole point of getting to max level and getting that level 3 garrison, amirite?

This time I was paying attention and got a screenshot when I dinged. Even better, I arranged it so that I dinged bringing Mankrik’s little girlfriend back to him safe and sound.

Juna had a lot of fun in Nagrand, really. She found things that my first two characters through there had missed. Like this cave clear up at the top of the Elemental Plateau.

It was an interesting one to get to. I hope you’re not afraid of heights, or super narrow cliffside paths!

If you’re not, the view is spectacular.

Between quest rewards, mission items, and the cloak that she made for herself, she has a high enough ilevel to do heroics. Heck I should probably start with Skyreach for her ring. I have no idea what pet she will use for groups, but it won’t be her clefthoof Shaggy. Big pets in dungeons annoy me.

Hangin’ With Khadgar

October 16, 2014

I only had a couple of hours last night to play. So I figured I’d take Juna down to the Blasted Lands and check out the invasion. I’ve always been a fan of Khadgar, so I couldn’t pass up the photo opportunity when she ran into him.

She’s so cute!

The questline was pretty fun. I like the new quest help features. It made it very easy to figure out where to go to find the objectives. I’m still a bad hunter, but I managed the named quest ogre plus a couple of adds without much trouble. I’m not sure what my ilevel is but the quest rewards were all upgrades so yeah.

Get used to the femtaur screenshots. I do think I will be playing her first for now.

Sadly, once she finished the questline, I was, once again, not really motivated to do anything more. I messed with Kerick’s face and hair a bit more, but ultimately ended up back in Mount & Blade. I suppose tonight when I have more time I might try LFR. I haven’t done the updated UBRS (or is it LBRS? See, I don’t even know) and I would still like some Garrosh heirlooms. Those do drop in LFR, right? I hope? I should probably also at least read up on how to play my classes now with all the changes.
