Busy Weekend of Weapons

Well I got nearly all of my weapons over the weekend. I think the only class I haven’t gotten to is Demon Hunter, and I also didn’t do the Blood DK. Here is the list of what I have:

Death Knight: Frost and Unholy
Druid: Balance and Feral
Hunter: Beast Mastery
Mage: All 3 specs
Monk: Windwalker
Paladin: Retribution (x2)
Priest: Discipline and Shadow
Rogue: Outlaw and Subtlety
Shaman: Elemental and Enhancement
Warlock: Demonology
Warrior: Arms and Fury

So that’s … 20 artifact weapon quests. Which makes sense since I said I had 23 level 100s and haven’t done three of them. Yay basic math.
I posted the first 6 last week, so I did 14 over the weekend, which obviously I’m not going to post all at once. Let’s split these into 3 posts.

Apocalypse

Not much to say here, really. Unholy is rather boring but very durable. This was also much easier than the Frost quest.

Ebonchill

Um …I’m totally blanking … oh yeah that was the one that was in the hands of the Legion, yes? Obviously it didn’t make much of an impression on me. I think the only time I died was when I stood in some lava and didn’t realize it because everything is freaking fel green which lags me up.

Fire, fire, how I do love thee! I cackle with glee while everything around me burns. Seriously, the AoE and pyroblasts just decimate everything in my path. And this guy is supposed to be my bank alt … hmm …. someone else might be stuck with that job now.

The Scythe of Elune

The lore would have been fantastic if not for the fact that it was the same exact quest as Apocalypse. I mean seriously, no one has even heard of Apocalypse, so how can it have the same questline as the storied and mythical Scythe of Elune?? I understand the reasoning, but I’m sorry, the Scythe deserved better than that.

I also figured out during this one that I was doing the whole ‘cross the spectral barrier’ thing wrong. Apparently I’m supposed to silence his cast from range. The DK just hit his defensive cooldown and ran through it so I was like ‘ok no problem, me bear rawr’ and .. yeah. I mean, it worked, it just wasn’t what the devs intended. Oops?

I envy that you still have Fu Zan to go πŸ™‚ Brewmaster’s weapon is probably the most amusing quest chain of all.

That’s good to know! I’ve never played Brewmaster, but I will have to make sure I do the quest for it. πŸ™‚
