I’ll warn you in advance, this is totally off topic. But hey, it’s my blog, I can take a detour once in awhile, right? I want this down somewhere so I can look back at it later and remember.
Last night of bowling league. I’m averaging 151, my personal best game is 184, my high series is 535. My goal for most of the season has been to throw a 200.
186 – nice game
191 – so close. Started the game with 9/spare for three frames and then my shoe stuck and I hung it over the gutter. I picked it up, but if that had been a strike instead of 0/spare, or even another 9/spare …
202 – it came down to the 10th frame. I had to strike to get it. It felt so awesome.
So that works out to a 579 series.
Guess I’d better find a new league. It would be a shame to quit now.
Then I wake up this morning and look out the window to see big, beautiful, heavy, wet snowflakes falling and a layer of snow on the ground and my car. Woohoo! Snow makes me happy. Wednesday made me grumpy. It was 60 so it was crowded and very busy at work. (60 is like, 15 to my friends in Canadialand). What? I’m supposed to be excited when it’s 60 and upset when it snows? Well, I never have claimed to be normal.

Grats on the scores! My best is in the high 180s. I have a hell of a time stopping my wrist from turning to the side.

Yup, 60F is about 15C – I tend to automatically convert back and forth since I never understood why we went Metric anyway…
When you get a solid 6-7 months of winter a year snowflakes start to lose their charm and become something annoying to shovel 😉

Yeah, we normally get that kind of winter (I can see Canada from my window if I use binoculars 😉 ), but this year has been weird. I could count on one hand the number of times I had to clear snow off the car. Usually that’s more like an every morning for four months in a row type of thing. =P

Congrats! A good night of bowling! I would have been okay with last night’s snow, but my body is seriously not liking to 30+ degree temp changes.
