School of Hard Knocks

Ah yes, it’s that time of year again.  Time to drag the orphans all over Azeroth and do evil things like eat lots of sweets in front of them, strand them somewhere when you hearth back to Dalaran (or the Eastern Plaguelands if you’re Karius … someday that horse will be mine and I can change it), and of course take them to the battlegrounds for some good old fashioned Horde killin.

I’m sure there will be plenty of discontent about the BG achievements again this year. Yes, it’s a bad design for an achievement. But it is what it is, and the only way to get it done is to just go out there and do it. My advice to you is, find someone in your guild, friends list, the general channel, or even just ask the people dueling in the Dalaran sewers … wherever you can find someone who *likes* pvp and is familiar with the BGs who is willing to go around with you and help you.

Look out Horde, here we come!

You see that warrior there, running out of the Warsong tunnel with Karius? Ya, that’s Belldren. Now, having my own pocket healer (/waves at Fiaks) is nice and all, but having a plate-wearing, bladestorming bodyguard? *drool* The strategy was thus … “Ok, I’ll go in and bladestorm all the Horde around the flag while you cap it!” Bell, thank you so much for the help, you are badass!

Now, I do have to give credit to Fiaks, also. He helped me get two of the cheeves on Karius (Bell helped me get all of them on Kaly plus two on Karius). Oh, and our arena team had a winning record this week. Go us! Yes, go ahead, armory me and my (lol) 900 rating. I’m having fun and that’s what counts.

BG achievements are easy. Just do the BGs and get them when they’re available. The ones that make you run around doing stuff when you could be doing BGs are the hard ones.
