This Just Will Not Do

April 18, 2013

For those of you who missed it, there was a rap battle between Garrosh and Varian on Sunday night at The Warchief’s Command Board. A poll was put up to determine the winner. Clearly Garrosh’s EPIC VERSE should come out on top. Yet somehow, some way, Varian is winning. I mean, There are even HORDE voting for him. Now, I understand that faction loyalties should not matter for something like this … IN THEORY. We all know that isn’t how things work in reality though, right? RIGHT?!?

Ok. Maybe I was wrong. It seems that, just as there are Horde voting for Varian, there are also Alliance voting for Garrosh. Carry on then.

And if you have any suggestions for future matchups, make sure to drop them in the comments on the Command Board!

You requested reports from the field in Pandaria. I have recently been on assignment in the southernmost part of the continent, in an area known as the Krasarang Wilds. It was there that I ran into a bipedal reptilian species known as the Saurok. I was fighting three of these creatures when, unbeknownst to me, a fourth unstealthed behind me. Suddenly this flying ball of fur and claws whipped past my head, and when I bested my opponents and turned around, this tiny windrider cub had attached himself to the Saurok’s face. Henceforth, he has followed me everywhere, and, given his bravery, loyalty, and ability to watch my back even at such a young age, I thought it appropriate to give him a worthy name. I have long been an admirer of your own Mortimer, and hope that mine will live up to the name.

My New Best Friend

October 3, 2012

I’ll skip over the Valley of the Four Winds stuff. Plenty of other people have covered it already, seems like it’s the most talked about zone. People either love it, or hate it … well, the Tillers anyway. As for me, well … let’s just say I visit Halfhill daily and leave it at that. ;)

Next up was the Krasarang Wilds. Interesting place. I got to turn in the quest I fished up to Nat Pagle, although the token it awarded won’t do anything for me until I hit 90. So I ran around the jungle helping people and eventually ran into the refugees from the Temple of the Red Crane. And one of them was … well, here, see for yourself …

SPOILER HERE if you haven’t done this zone you might want to stop reading
especially if you are Garrosh … stop right here, move along, nothing to see

So, uh, yeah … Andy gave me a quest. He needed snake heads to make anti-venon to cure the refugees. What? He’s a priest, I’m a holy paladin … how can I turn him down? So I did it. And then, well … we went and cured the Temple of its Sha Infestation and saved Chi-Ji the Red Crane … together.

It wasn’t easy. If I wasn’t a paladin and can heal myself back up when I get caught in something, which happens a lot as melee … omg. But we did it, and I think Andy enjoyed my company as much as I enjoyed his.

Ok I’m gonna go hide now before Garrosh finds me … FYV?

Tomorrow or Friday, assuming he hasn’t smushed me, I will report on Kun-Lai Summit.
