Ok, actually, the weekend itself was pretty awesome. I just failed completely at screenshots. I have exactly one that was taken yesterday.
See? It’s not even a GOOD screenshot. In case you can’t tell, that is Juna finally capturing Skoll. She still needs Arcturis and Aotona and then I will call her Wrath collection complete and start leveling her again so she can start grabbing Cata pets.
Other new additions to my pet collections this weekend included Tiny Shale Spiders for Arelin, Karius, AND Vanicus, Black Panther Cubs for Kalyon and Van, as well as a Kirin Tor Familiar and a White Tickbird Hatchling for Van. Oh! Crap. REMIND ME to go to Sholazar and get a new egg!! Geez. See? Fail!
Van dropped mining yesterday and started leveling up alchemy. I sent Roz out a few times to pick herbs that he needed, and hit up some archaeological digs along the way. His first fossil project? The pet. Is this a sign that he needs to be seriously leveling it? Ha.
Saturday we hit up ZG. Zarm tossed me some purple BoE bracers to stuff in my bag to get my iLevel high enough. It was …. relatively painless. I mean sure, Venoxis is a pita, and it took a few tries but once we got past him it was smooth sailing through Mandokir and …whatever the archaeology boss is. Slice failed at the frogger boss though. And then we had some troubles with Zanzil. Apparently they have trouble with him a lot. Probably has something to do with their penchant for bringing along lots of melee. Anyway, I got a helm and we moved on to Jindo and … one shot him. Seriously. We freaking wiped several times on Zanzil, and one shot the chains boss. Really? W.T.F. lol. Only in SR ….
Yesterday we wanted to do ZA, but my ilevel was too low after giving Zarm’s purples back. So I queued with Slice and Sorak for a few regular heroics. Then later in the evening once we had a full group on, Slice tossed me some BoE gloves for the bag and away we went. (Blizz, please please please, can we have Amani Bear minipets PLZ?????????????) Anyway, Akil’zon goes down and …. yes. That’s right. You know what I’m going to say, don’t you. Kerick, in his lovely everything is 359 and purple except for his bracers, is sooo jealous right now. Van kills the damn boss ONCE and has purple bracers before he even sets foot in a raid. Sorak even hooked him up with the intellect enchant that takes maelstrom crystals! Damn spoiled elf. He also got a lovely ring, spirit and haste, no reforging necessary. Hell ya! The final boss, we got cat and dragonhawk forms …. ugh. Just …. ugh. We spent more time on that than on anything else in the instance. Eventually Sorak (who was there on his rogue) swapped out and brought his shaman to dps, and the extra damage did help. Finally we got him down. The quests gave me pants and shoulders, so now my iLevel is a legit 348.
Tonight we hope to get in a BH. Even if nothing drops, Van is ready to raid.
